Our first spring break trip. Too many young people, but no bad experiences. Just too many. Our biggest problem, whether on our bikes or not, are the number of people - no matter what age - that roll right through stop signs on their bikes. They're lucky cars don't hit them more often.
Water is too cold, of course, but the weather was great. Rode our bikes or walked 3 or 4 hours every day. Wonderful.
Ate breakfast twice at two places for the first time: Liar's Club and Gravel Road. Both were really good. Presentation was amazing at Gravel Road. Will return to both and will check out other meals at Gravel Road. We've been to Stinky's.
Went to Seagrove Market twice, for lunch, for the first time in a couple of years. What an excellent value. They usually have two lunch specials. We normally don't eat lunch out because we're at the beach, but did so this trip.
First time to Louie Louie's. Yummy and very nice service. Went to the Red Bar only once! Bloody Mary's for lunch when we first arrived.
Bud & Alley's several times - at least the Tarpon Club. Will have to eat in the dining room again someday.
Got Barefoot BBQ to go a couple of times.
Once, the ice cream store had NO LINE, so I got the key lime pie on a stick.
Only once in Amavidas - too many kids. But, hey, the kids were spending money. We'll be back in June.
No problems on our beach. No one left anything.
Everyone was nice to us in the restaurants and shops.
Stopped in to see Larry at the visitors' center and Larry at Suncrest Sundries.
You can see why we forget to go to the beach sometimes when we're there.
Another fine visit.
And I come back to work today - lunch break right now - and our department is reorganizing! One person 'left' on April Fool's Day; another gave their notice while I was gone, and we're having a department meeting this afternoon. No one's come after me - yet! Ellen

I still have a job. My company likes to reorganize. Our department is always the last. I actually like changes, even as old as I am. I prefer keeping my job, I like the paycheck. Allows me to visit 30A:) Ellen
