We’re excited to announce that Ovide is officially open for lunch Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. The new lunch menu features a selection of shared plates, sandwiches, soups and salads that combine Gulf Coast flavors with Southern culinary traditions to fuel flavor in every bite. Plus, the signature restaurant at Hotel Effie also made a few changes and additions to its breakfast, brunch and dinner menus which were released earlier this Fall.
Lunch menu highlights include sharables like the Mega Toast ($19) with smoked salmon, boursin cheese and heirloom tomato, lemon aioli and herbs, or vegetarian options like the Artisanal Cheese & Charcuterie Board ($24) with assorted accouterments and seasonal fruit. Other highlights include sandwiches like the classic Chicken BLT ($20) with tarragon aioli on ciabatta, and the Open-Faced Steak & Egg ($27) on a black bear baguette with Monterey jack cheese, fire rocket and arugula.
