Savor the Gulf Coast flavors and impeccable classic French technique of Executive Chef Matthew Krueger at Ovide with a curated Valentine’s Day dinner menu for $250 per couple. The four-course dinner to share starts with a choice of oysters Rockefeller or farm egg, with crispy jasmine rice for the appetizer, followed by panzanella salad or creamy parsnip soup. Diving into the main course, guests can enjoy crusted lamb chop, with pine nut and mustard crust paired with couscous, tomato and Madeira glazed mushrooms, or cioppino, a seafood stew with lobster, little neck clams, scallops, saffron, fennel, tomato and country sourdough. Pair the meal with Valentine’s Day-inspired specialty cocktails like love potion ($17), made with strawberry-infused vodka, Chambord and house sour mix; and zesty passion martini ($18), made with tequila, orange liquor, cranberry juice and fresh lime. Wine suggestions range from an elegant Schramsberg Blanc de Noirs ($25) to a subtle Argyle Brut ($14), and make sure to leave room for strawberry cheesecake and key lime pie for dessert.
