The Walton County Department of Public Works has opened the new Oyster Lake Bridge on Highway 30A in Walton County. The bridge has been fully completed and is now servicing both east and westbound traffic.

Didnt mind the short scenic detour but im sure the locals are happy to see all that traffic go
If anyone has been keeping score, it has taken 7 months to do this rather small scale road project.
Maybe , we should be practicing our detours for the next wash-out / bridge repair...
The detour signs were still up at 11:00 A.M.. The new bridge is nice and many are glad it is now open.
