The fun bars carrying PBR are not around here. I know of several places that serve tall boy (16oz) PBR for $1.25 and Schlitz 12 oz cans for $1. In those bars, that is the beer of popular choice.
You gotta get up north of the bay for those. :D

They used to sell PBR at the Indigo Wine Bar right before they closed. For those of you old schoolers who might remember that place...a great cheap alternative to $60 Pinots

Would those places also typically be sporting a significant collection of - humm - substantial scooters in the parking lot? :laughing1

One of the best movie scenes ever is in "Blue Velvet" when Dennis Hopper asks the abducted kid Kyle MacLachlan what kind of beer he likes. The kid says Heineken. Way wrong answer! Hopper goes nuts telling him the virtues of PBR.

Years ago, as a mild-mannered young guy (thought I was a stud), I used to drink PBRs in the factory bars around central Ohio. Nothin' like gettin' a buzz while talking about making truck axles...

But the PBR blues - whoa!!!!!!!
