I have been searching for a 4 bedroom in June and this is one of the few things I've found with availability. Is this a fairly new development? Also, can you tell me approximately how far from the beach the homes are? Would it be close enough to have ocean views? Thanks!

There are about 20 homes being built in Palmeira. Yes, it is new and maybe 12 homes are currently built. It is a new sub-division in Seagrove, located on the north side of 30A, and right next to Cacoon's, just across the street from One Seagrove Beach, the tall tower in Seagrove. House are big, lots are small, and the beach is practically across the street. Beach access is almost straight across. Some homes have splash pools. Nicely finished houses, just not particular style, but I'm not your average guy and this will be a rental for you. Gulf views may be more glimers or distant, unless you are in the southern-most home. In short, Palmeria is in the heart of Seagrove, and there is plenty to do in that area, without getting in your car. The homes are nice. I've been in most of them, and my brother has built a few of them.

Please visit www.beachescape.net .

We have Palm Paradise (4 bedroom) with great gulf views and a large private pool. If you mention Smilin' Joes name in your reservation request, we will give you a 10% discount.

This house is in Santa Rosa Beach, not sure if you were set on the villas.

Hey, I know that house. It is in a good location (not in Palmeira), and you don't have to cross 30A to access the beach and that can be a huge plus. Distance from the beach may be a touch farther than Palmeira, but not enough to make a difference. Palm Paradise is in a more relaxed area where as Palmeira is a little more stuffy (homes really close together and not so "beachy.")

I do owe you a beverage or 2 for doing the post hurricane check you did a couple years ago. Maybe a game of bocci in Palm Paradise's yard sometime.
