Go early in the morning. Less busy, not as hot. Try to ride around in the neighborhoods where possible. Might give you as many miles as if you rode the whole length. The Watercolor Bridge, walk your bike. Same with the area in front of the Seaside caravans - British word - I watch too much PBS. We bring our bikes every trip even if it's only to go to Modica once or twice a day. Love riding to Grayton. Got to tour the old Butler house recently when one of the owners was staying there.
