Pensacola Bay Bridge/I-110???

Hello, I'm headed to South Walton once again later this week, and I'm wondering if the bridge from Pensacola to Gulf Breeze has been put back into service yet? If not, what would be the most efficient route from Pensacola to the South Walton area? Thanks.

All the bridges reopened in 2004. The I-10 bridge eastbound is a temporary fix right now- it's totally safe, but a bit freaky to drive on since there are a couple spots where there is metal grating instead of concrete. A permanent six-lane replacement bridge with a higher elevation is in the works.

It's also one lane eastbound, and you get traffic back-ups during evening rush hour.
