I had an awful experience trying to find a place to board my very spoiled pug last weekend. I could only find one place, and it looked pretty spartan. The pug gets gastro-intestinal distress in loud, cement cage kennels. Does anyone have any recommendations?

The only one that I can think of is the vet at 79 and Back Beach Road in PC Beach. I think it is Dr. Fountain. I havn't used her in several years but know of several SoWal people that do.

For easily stressed animals, a pet sitter that visits the home twice a day could be a better option. And most vets can give you the names of any local ones that are properly bonded and licensed.
