I no longer need my cell phone with ALLTEL. However, there is a big cancellation fee that they will not budge on. They will let somone assume the contract. There is approximately 18 months left on the contract. The plan is completely adjustable to your needs and budget. The phone is a red Samsung flip phone in excellent shape - like new. If you are interested, please call me Rebecca at 850-543-2241.

I hate those contracts and have refused to enter into them, after my first. I've been with Alltel for 8 years, now and they keep trying to give me stuff to renew my contract, and I keep reminding them that I want to be free to leave them, if their service turns crappy. They let me slide under the counter and get the phone deals or whatever, without renewing, but they keep it on the down low. They do negotiate these things, but probably not "during" your contract term. Just remember it before getting that $200 discount for an additional 2-year commitment.

Good luck Rebecca. Are you offering any kind of incentive?

Anybody notice that the Verizon guy has disappeared from the Alltell commercials?

My Alltel service has gotten a lot better recently in Old Seagrove. I can even use the phone without having to walk out to the street.

Maybe that also means that by cutting their costs, they can pass along the savings to customers, offering more, for less.
