"Home" ownership, for the most part, always was a good idea--it wasn't until folks started treating housing like Beanie Babies (lining up at 0-dark-30, pricing wars, money grab) that everything got wrapped around the axle and upset the economic balance of communities.

If you actually take the time to read the report, you'll see individual markets are quite different across the nation.
