Im looking to rent a pontoon boat for July 4th to go to Crab Island, and I know it's late, but ive been very busy.

Anyway, Ive called all the numbers I have found online. And being in New Orleans, it have no access to a phone book or other possible places not listed on the internet.

ive called these 9 places that I found online.

-aloha
-luthers
-gilligans
-sunshine
-Dockside
-Florida girls
-Boogies
-Desint vacation boat rentals
-Brooks Bridge and Tackle

anyone have any other names that I could possibly call as a last ditch effort? any help would be greatly appreciated.

A few said they booked their last boats this morning, so i am still holding out hope!

I don't know anyone personally... but you can follow this link to the AT&T Yellow Pages. Good Luck!

Elrods fish camp on Mack Bayou used to rent pontoons. You will have to ride through most of the bay but its not that far and spotting dolphins is likely. Be sure to ask if they let you take them all the way to Crab Island though just in case. Haven't been myself in years but its worth a shot.

Elrods changed ownership a few years ago and they don't rent anything out or do any kind of services with the public.

Dockside would have been my pick, but it looks like you've already called them.

If you can get on the Air Force base, they rent their pontoons for $160 a day....which is by far the cheapest around here.
