What brand is it? If it's a Laars, it's probably a rusted $29.95 part that a pool equipment repair company will charge you $900 for. Sorry about ending the sentence with a preposition.
Seriously, we've paid $900 several times when we could have fixed it ourselves for $29.95. Thank goodness for a friend who has the same heater and told us about this fix!
