We have visited 30A for almost 20 years every summer. June-August there is never a concern on pool temps. We are coming down the third week of March with our young girls for Spring Break. Wondering if anyone can comment on what the non heated pool temps are like at that time. Do we test that or do we simply find somewhere with a heated pool?

Any insight is appreciated!

Find a heated pool.

Keep in mind it won't be a bathtub and may be an extra fee.

If the weather continues the way its going you may not need it in direct sun.

Our pool gets pretty good sun exposure. Our current temp is 70 degrees. Pretty good for this time of year.

You'll want a heated pool. Just don't crank the heat up to 100 degrees as some of our renters would do which would give us a huge gas bill and blow out the pool heater, Then the renters would want a refund for being inconvenienced. We always set it to 84 in the spring. Then in the summer the water would get too warm, and they'd run the hose to the pool to cool it off, giving us a huge water bill. We don't rent our home now.

They are swimming in our unheated pool this week.
