While doing a search for Pecan Blue Cheese Bread, I came across this website. Pretty cool. Sounds like some good recipes, and they even give you the shopping list. This may be old news to those of you who shop Publix regularly, but it was exciting to me. (hey, it doesn't take much!)

Thanks for the link dd. I had not seen that! It's so much better than bringing home and losing the recipe cards! They have a setup at our local store and probably most of the others, where they have a featured recipe every week, and have someone preparing it at all times so you can have a sample (Thurs.-Sun. I think). Several of the recipes have been big hits at our house, which is hard to pull off. I heart Publix.

Thanks, I bookmarked it.
I REALLY miss Publix. They are the best. We don't have them in IL.

BTW, your 'tar is sooooo cute! Love that smile.

DD, when we were visiting gotothebeachmom & dad at their Georgia house, they had this really cool food product from Publix that I'd never seen before--basil in a squirt tube like the kind toothpaste comes in. Maybe it's an ordinary thing for Southern groceries (they couldn't believe I was impressed  ) but I wish we had the same here in the Midwest. I love using basil in my summer cooking but you have to use it fresh or it goes bad. That basil in a tube was the best!

I think I saw that on some cooking show one time. I have not seen it in the stores here--although I haven't looked. I'll look for it though and if I find it, i will send it to you. It's a great idea! :D

Awww.
I have a friend here that is looking for Pomagranate Paste. Never heard of it--and neither has any store here. Her doctor told her to make a salad dressing with that and olive oil, and I don't remember what else. I'm looking online for it now. Ever heard of it?:dunno:

I believe I saw that in the Produce section at Kroger here. Do you have Kroger stores near you?
