Pizza by the Sea: great pizza, very fair prices, and friendly service: will definitely go back.
My Daddy's Cheescake: heavenly desserts, very attentive and helpful staff, another repeat.
Sugar Pies: good food, great location and fun staff. Will go again.
Amore', my favorite pizza. Other family member preferred Pizza by the Sea, but we will frequent both when in the area.
Wild Olives: I love, love thier tuna salad. I would drive miles for it.
Shades on the Loop: not gourmet fare, but really good food, wonderful service, especially their manager. He was all over the place making sure everyone was well taken care of. Very clean and friendly establishment. My husband really liked this place, all the TVs and beer selection I am sure had nothing to do with it.
Watercolor Publix, one of the nicest groceries I have ever shopped in, and their Key Lime Pie is award winning, D&K's still takes the prize for me, but this was unbelieveable for grocery fare pie.
The only disappointment, sweet tea everywhere is very high for the amount you get, even with refills.
I think I am switching to water.
Some of the places we had planned were scrapped due to the monsoon rain and we had dinner in our cottage.
All in all a very pleasant dining week on 30-A and we still have many places on our list to try next trip.

Sounds like you had a nice visit, plus got to get a bite or two of good food.
and then the monsoon rain set in for 2 days. Was glad for the Publix and the fact we liked our cottage as we dined in for 2 days.
