Odd thing...everytime I see one at a zoo I really want to pet it. Years ago at the New Orleans zoo they had one out in the bat display. It was crawling all over the handler. Very soft...

We all wanted to pet it. It looked like a puppy....well sort of. It stared at us the whole time we stood there with those big eyes. I wonder if they are as nice as they look? Duh, now I remember reading they were the largest of the bats.
