Recycling in South Walton

My husband and I just returned from a trip to Seagrove beach. During our stay we collected several bags of plastic and glass bottles to recycle. Two years ago we were able to recycle behind the Publix but this year we could not find a recycling center or bin. Are there really no recycling facilities in the area?

Are the recycling bins still next to Helen McCall Park? I live in Freeport, but this is were I usually go to recycle. It's been a while though.

These are the recycling trailer locations, per the Walton County web site. There was a notification on March 31 that the recycle trailer behind Publix on CR-395 was removed at the property owner's request.

You can once again recycle glass.

Thanks for the info about the glass Beachlover2. I'll check it out on my next trip to the recycling trailers!
