This is a great way to reduce waste and save some trees and frustration.

It's a site dedicated to removing you from catalog mailing lists. No charge, just fewer catalogs clogging the mailbox. You choose which catalog you don't want to get and they contact the company for you.

Thanks!!!! I've devoted myself to throwing things out today...and shredding old tax stuff/paperwork and I have got a bunch of catalogs. Shredded what I could, the rest are in the blue bags (4 of them) on the roadside. I'm logging on to that site NOW!!!!

I did this months ago...I still get too many, but it does seem to have cut some of them. Thanks for the reminder...I need to go back and update.

Sorry, double dipping.
Amazing how people think that all that junk mail is making people money.
I was in Bass Pro a month or so ago and when I go to check out, they always ask you for your phone number. I tell them no thank you, I am not interested in getting on a junk mail list.
The lady gets a little snotty with me and tells me that they only need the number so the store can track demographics of usage to their store.
Last weekend I am back in Bass Pro and see the same lady and so get in her line to check out. Sure enough, she asks me for my phone number. I said sure, it's area code 850.
She is waiting for more and then I ask her why she needs more as it is only for demographics, right.

Sorry if you are the lady I did this to and you read it on this site. I thought it was hilarious.

Wouldn't you know it? This one catalog I tried to opt out of that my husband gets and I throw them right away refuses to let you opt out on this link. You have to call them.
