I'm gonna test the power of the board!

A friend of mine is a Trust VP for Suntrust Bank. Apparently, they have wound up with a property in Carillon Beach. Not a very detailed description so far...
"The house is very new construction, about 2660 square feet of living space with 5 bedrooms and 3.5 baths. It is quite posh."

He is asking if I know of any rental management companies that could handle this for vacation rentals.

Any suggestions? I can put people in direct contact with him if need be

Thanks!

Tell your friend to read the book, "How to Rent Vacation Properties By Owner" - Christine Karpinski and then see if he still want to hire a management company. Trust folks usually watch their pennies...

Most rental companies don't want to touch a property owned by a bank. It makes certain aspects of rental really difficult.

Does HE own it, or does the bank own it?

If he owns it, the world is full of possibilities (and he sounds like the kind of guy that would play be the rules! ;-)).

If the bank owns it...that would be hard to rent through a company OR by owner. If I were a guest having to send my 50% deposit to a bank, I'd probably be real nervous. Don't know why, just would be. :creepy:
