Renting Fishing Poles?

One of our renters wants to bring his 3 year old fishing (catch and release) and asked if there was any place to rent poles in the Seagrove Beach area.

Also, where would be a good place to bring a little one for some fishing with his daddy?

If anywhere around here would rent them, I would think it would be YellowFin Sports, in Seagrove. Don't be surprised if they don't rent them, because one could probably buy a fishing real and rod for less than $40 at a discount store. I bet YellowFin has fishing poles for kids, for purchase.

Thanks, SJ, I thought it would probably be cheaper to bring your own poles. I'll relay the message.

Any ideas about a good spot to fish for a little bit?

The Gulf works fine for fishing. Make sure you tell them to move away from the swimmers when selecting a spot.

John, I'll be by this saturday for some advice, coming down for the week I have a large combo rod reel, and was wondering if you offer the service, of rigging it up with what you think is the most appropriate Pompano jig for me. Do you sell sandfleas, (frozen or live).. or do you sell the sand flea scoop catchers? Do you have shrimp for bait as well, and lastly do you sell fishing licenses?

Thanks much in advance. I'm not too serious of a fisherman, but I have a 5 year old boy who is eager to try it out this year, so we're going to see what we can do with a little surf fishing, and maybe a little fishing down in Eastern lake as well.

Yes, we can rig you up. We can put new line on your reel for $6 and recycle your old line. We've got a variety of Pompano jigs and rigs. We sell frozen sand fleas (very fresh; not like some others we've come across). Yes, we also have the sand flea rakes, live and frozen shrimp, and fishing licenses. All this AND a good attitude.
