Beginning Rug Hooking Classes with fiber artist, Capri Boyle Jones
Join us September 30th from 10a.m. – 2p.m. at the Cultural Arts Alliance Bayou Arts Center!
Learn the basics of rug hooking to include fundamental principles and concepts that allow each student to understand and create a hooked product.
This class will practice pulling loops on a 12" x 12" pattern designed by the instructor which encourages a variety of basic techniques. We will utilize a variety of wools and/or other fibers to achieve the essence of the design. Students will also learn about equipment and tools utilized for rug hooking.
