Very sad news ya'll!!
My aunt is forcing us to sell satisfaction(101 Lydia).
Yes, the anchor house.
It has been in our family for over half a century.
We are all saddened by this news and wanted to say that we love you all and will miss you more than you could know!
Love in our Grayton bond,
Satisfaction no longer

Satisfaction,
That is truly sad news. :sosad: Just another example of what greed is doing to ruin the character and charm of OLD GRAYTON. My grandfather was friends with Mr. Dickson and helped him place the anchor in the street about 40+ years ago. We have the PINK house next to Satisfaction.

I can only hope that whoever does buy the property will cherish it like it is and not tear it down to build an "monster" house.

Oh that's horrible news... We go down to the beach with a large group of people each May or June and each year for the last few years one of the families has rented out the Satisfaction... We will greatly miss lounging on the small dock, having talent shows on the porch, and hiding treasure hunt clues in the anchor:sosad: We have some nice pictures of the house though in case some "old grayton" respecting individual wants to buy it...

The new owners will probably rent it out.
