It's such an amazing time of the year. Everything is blooming in the yard and we love it! Here is a photo of the Lady in Red. She's been showing blooms for a while now. These things seem to be pretty tough and look to be re-seeding themselves very easily.

it looks to be a red version of our "shrimp" plants. the protruding part of the flower should have a sweet nectar.

2bs, Salvia coccinea seeds everywhere!
It's gorgeous but you may want to cut the flowers before seeds mature or you could have it everywhere in your flower bed..:eek:

Rita, thanks for the heads up. We kind of figured that this is the case. We are seeing little babies pop up all around in the pot. Right now, it's not an issue but it's good information to know.
