Hi everybody! I love this site, all these wonderful people who love the same beautiful area. We have been going to seagrove for five years, destin for nine before that , then it got way too crazy and cramped on the beach and highway 98 is unbearable!!! we rented a new house this year in the seawalk subdivision, refuge at seawalk, the back yard is san juan street . My concern is the san juan beach access, looks like they have not repaired it yet. Can any body give me some info on this? thanks to everyone who post those great pictures, its cold here in Missouri   Have a great day everyone!!!

You are correct, but it is my understanding that all Walton County Beach Accesses are to be repaired before sometime in April. Most accesses will likely be repaired before the end of March. They are rushing to beat Spring Break, which begins around the first week of March. I think I took this photo just prior to Christmas. If I happen to get out that way tomorrow, I'll report back to you.

San Juan Access is still out of commission. At this time, they have not started construction to repair this particular access. However, if you are not coming until June, you will have no problems accessing. Right now, you can get to the beach from the access at Bramble Grove to the east about 300'. It aint pretty but you can make it work.
