The Gulfarium CARE Center is excited to announce the first public sea turtle release of the 2025 turtle season.
The sea turtle release event will take place this Monday, May 19, at 10:00 AM at Henderson Beach State Park, located at 17000 Emerald Coast Parkway, Destin, FL 32541.
The Gulfarium CARE Center team will be releasing three rehabilitated sea turtles back into the Gulf following their successful treatment at the CARE facility. This short but meaningful event typically lasts about 10 minutes.
Additional information on the turtles being released will be shared on our Facebook page this week, and a Facebook Live stream will also be available for those unable to attend in person.

Conserve. Act. Rehabilitate. Educate.
Gulfarium Marine Adventure Park has been active in marine animal rescue and rehabilitation for many years. The C.A.R.E. Center was developed in 2015 as a non-profit to facilitate and further our continued coastal conservation efforts. The program has helped to rehabilitate and release various species of sea turtles found in the Gulf Coast, from the Loggerhead, Green, Kemp’s ridley, to the Leatherback. Over the years hundreds of sea turtles have been rehabilitated and released back into the wild by the Gulfarium.
