We are interested in purchasing a condo at Seagrove Highland, but heard there are problems getting bank financing, anyone know what's going on? We are looking for our winter get away and summer rental.

Also wondered what's up with Village at Blue Mountain?

Seagrove Highlands has some litigation going on with the developer over some drainage area. Like many newer buildings gettng loans on these has become very difficult. If the price is right it might be ok but remember to resale the unit the loan issue will be a problem until this clears up. I would probably avoid the units unless the price was right. The Village seems to be on a rebound and I heard the Association has taken over the ammenities. Now, maybe they can finally get those areas painted and cleaned up. Just my 2 cents.

We are in the process of trying to purchase a unit at Seagrove Highlands. Try Kristen Pope at Gulf Bank. She was the only one that I could find that was able to finance there until the litigation clears.

Thanks Snowbird. Waiting on BoA to respond to our counter. I know another unit closed in there a week ago. Litigation has been continued until next year. Going to make buying and selling in there difficult, but it looks like a great area to me.
