Seaside, difficult to find a parking space, even in 'off season'?

My cousin is in her 12th year as a snowbird on 30A. She's given up going to Sundog books. Or Great Southern. She can't find parking. I gave her a couple of hints. And no she doesn't want to ride the shuttle, especially to get food to go and ride back and forth. When school is out, would that be the best time to grab a spot? What time is that? (I did suggest the parking lot just west of Seaside.) Thanks, Ellen

I haven't had any problems recently parking on Smolian Circle around the school. It's the "off season" for another few weeks.

The Van Ness Butler Access on the west die of town is easy and a short walk. It's just a shame there's no popping in any more to grab something at Modica, or a sandwich or a coffee.

We use to come down after Christmas and my husband would stand in the middle of 30A and take photos. No people. No cars. Wish all these people would go further south! We started visiting 30 in the late 80s and started staying on 30A in 2000. Ellen

I wish they would let parking back in the circle area, at least for off season
