- Looking for something different and special to put in an Easter basket, the Soap Pedalersuggests mini lavender Bath Fizzies.
- The Cranky Yankee will have fresh picked collards, kale and carrots, some Romaine lettuce and a wonderful selection of sea salts. Additionally, Cranky Yankee will have basil, tomato, lemon balm and savory plants for sale.
- Sweet Henrietta’s will have Easter Jumbo Cupcakes and boxes of 24 Babycakes this weekend. Cake of the Week is the Gourmet Coconut Cake. Deadline to order: Thursday.
- Sarah K. says, “Spend time with those you love instead of in the kitchen this holiday!” For Easter, Sarah K’s Gourmet is offering TWO pre-ordered side dishes for $20. Side dish menu items easily feed 3 to 4 people and include: Green Bean Casserole with French Fried Onions, Home-Style Potato Salad, Sweet Potato Casserole with Brown Sugar and Walnuts and Traditional Cornbread Dressing. Call (850) 269-0044 by 6:00 p.m. on Friday, March 29th to place an order. Pick up at SFM on Saturday, March 30th.
- New seeds this week from Moonlight Micro-Farm: Roselle a.k.a. Hibiscus Sabdariffaa.k.a. Florida Cranberry a.k.a. Jamaican Sorrel - Roselle is a native to the Old World Tropics. This hibiscus is grown as an annual in temperate zones and reaches 4-8 feet tall. It has dark green leaves, pale yellow flowers and forms a bright red calyx as the fruit matures. The calyx is used to make teas, jams, and syrup. Roselle is also used medicinally. Makes a great hedge or stand-alone specimen.
- Other new seeds from Moonlight:Laurentian Rutabaga, Black Hungarian Hot Pepper andItalian Heirloom Tomato. This beautiful red heirloom from Italy produces over 1 lb. fruit and has a rich, full tomato flavor. Thin skinned, easy to peal, good for canning and slicing.
- The GreenMan’s Garden is sustainable, organic, local, pesticide free produce. This week: heirloom arugula ($6), heirloom spinach ($6), sweet winter carrots ($4 or 5lb. bag for $15); rainbow colored radishes with their greens ($5/lb. – limited quantities), bok choi ($4 or 10-lb. bag for $25), Italian flat leaf parsley ($4), sweet winter cabbage ($4), red Butterhead lettuce a.k.a. Bibb lettuce ($5), sorrel greens ($6), curly kale ($6), baby collard greens ($5), gourmet mesclun salad mix ($6), watercress ($6), green onions ($3), white cauliflower ($3 – limited quantities), dino kale ($6), Swiss chard ($6) and bulk veggie shares or juice bags (7lb.-bag/$30).

- Kinowa’s Cowboy Cookies will be at the market with Gluten Free Almond Crunch Cowboys, Original Recipe Cowboys, Secret Recipe Cowboys, Orange Blossoms(breakfast vittles) and Gluten Free Cowgirls too!
