Seaside Half Marathon

Okay, it's a weird request but if there is anyone that has a bona fide entrance to the race they can't use, I'm looking for a way in. Sometimes people enter the races and have other events come up on the day, or get injured (hope not, but it happens) before the race. If anyone knows anyone who is looking to recover some of the cost of their entrance let me know. I promise to give you a great time....I should post a 1:48 or better for 50-54 age category...

OR...does anyone know if they need a volunteer pacer?? I'll be happy to run the 1:50 pace group if they need it.

Rules of the run are entrances cannot be bought, sold, traded, transferred. I believe they do not have pace people either.

Don't they make you show identification before they will give you a badge, or am I thinking about another race? I know that I bought a ticket to the Songwriters Festival from someone who bought multiples. When I checked in for my wrist band, I was asked for an ID. I said that I didn't have an ID for this person. So the person said, "Can you call the person you bought it from and let me talk to her?" I did, the person I bought it from verified that she had sold it to me, and they gave me the wrist band.
