Seeking Registered Veterinary Technician for Head Tech/Hospital Manager of small, startup, full-service veterinary hospital on 30A in Gulf Place, Santa Rosa Beach, Florida.

Recent graduates will be considered.

Job description: All typical vet tech jobs, including drawing blood, taking x-rays, TPR, customer care and education, computer maintenance, bloodwork machine support and maintenance, entering charges, checking people out, phone calls to clients, answering phones, maintaining extreme organization and cleanliness, a professional and deeply caring personality, approaching each day with joy and moral support for clients and staff during the rough cases. Ability to handle difficult situations with clients. Hiring/terminations and management/accountability with staff, and training future technicians/staff. Inventory, and managing "just in time" ordering.

Customer care, love, support and satisfaction are the number one goals of our hospital, with our internal mantra being "Happy clients and Healthy Pets". We are a loving, caring and cheerful company, and we consider our clients to be partners in planning health care for each and every patient, with our goal to be the "voice" for the pet, and educate the client to our best abilities of all their choices for each situation.

We do not provide grooming or boarding, we are strictly a veterinary hospital, with x-ray, ultrasound, therapeutic laser, surgery and hospitalization.

Our expectations are that this person will be able to manage themselves, and the rest of the staff, leaving Dr. Shatzel to be strictly a veterinarian and focus on patient diagnosis and management and client education and support.

This hospital will be a cheerful, beautiful and pleasant place for all clients and staff. Only people-oriented AND animal-loving applicants will be considered.
