That's right. Jalape?os are like that, too. I've got a bunch of bright red ones on my plants. I'm a little scared to eat them.I bought some at Publix for my latest gaucamole recipe. They add a nice tang.
Sitting out in the kitchen, they are starting to turn red. Tonight, I thought I'd taste one. Hoowee!

Serranos can be up tp 5x hotter than Jalapenos. The hottest I've had is The Source. Tried it off a toothpick end

I'm not a pickled pepper fan, but I might smoke them and make a hot sauce.
us some hot sauce in this family.Assuming you don't mean rolling them up in cigarette paper...
