I could get next week off (Sunday through Sunday, beginning the 19th) if I can find a suitable vacation home (not condo) to rent. If I can't, no big deal. There are 2 adults, 2 children (10 and 7), and 1 extremely well-behaved, old, medium sized dog in my party. We have been renting annually in the area for the last 10 years (Among the oaks, Camellia House, and a few others). Below is my "wish" list.
House, not condo
Private pool
Either within 200 yds to the beach or golf cart provided
I'm really picky about the location, so bear with me here. I like anything between Birmingham street and Gulf trace. On the east side of that, anything between eastern lake and rosemary beach. I mean no offense to anyone outside of those areas - just my personal pref.
Not much more than 2k for the week.
