I read their information on their web site. " Membership in the WCSBA is by invitation from the WCSBA board of directors" ! Gee what a select group, Lloyd Blue, Tony Anderson, Gary Shipman, Larry Anchors. As President of Edgewater I am thrilled NOT to have been asked to join. I think I will start a small business group of all the little people and businesses, you will not have to pay a fee of 100.00 to join and it will not by invitation only. It will be to support all local businesses to visitors and residents.

I now understand why William Schissler wrote, if he indeed wrote it himself his letter to the editor. I read all of the post on Sowal and NO where did anyone call for a boycott. I also doubt any of these people could not buy Christmas toys for their children as his letter said.

Haven't been there since and will not be going. Actually just sent some to another location that was looking to rent a place for an event.

Same for that Fred's Cash and Carry Hardware store(S). I think he has two. I don't go there, ever...

High prices, rude staff. Ace in Miramar Beach is the place!

As for the invitation only, that's a bit suspect. Do they discriminate?

Schissler wrote a letter to the editor saying Bob Hudson called for a boycott which was NOT true. He also said other things about Bob personally. The letter actually sounded like someone else composed it for him that has had a vendetta against Bob for a long time.

I doubt that Schissler would say that a boycott would keep these small businesses from being able to buy Christmas presents for their children. This group was started in my opinion as a political group to raise money to take Cindy out of office, disguised . Remember you can put a lipstick on a pig but it is still a pig, the pig just wallows in the mud with its lipstick on.

Yes you are right BUT he never said to boycott them. I think if they are losing business it is because the citizens are fed up with the good old boy system and pigs in lipstick. Game playing must stop by the people who want to own the BCC members and their votes. Until this happens the sun will never shine on Walton County Government.

This will be the year of not who spends the most it will be about who is just plain fed up with the same old same old.

Yes, and remember that these are businesses that members are "invited" to join. What makes those businesses so special over others in our community?

The SBA also doesn't list all of its businesses for the community to see who's a member. I wonder why not? Wouldn't you WANT people to know you are a proud member?

The posting of photos / logos was very informative, at least to me, to start to see who these people are.

It didn't take me very long to start to connect the dots. But that's a conspiracy for another day...
