AIRING THIS WEEKEND: South Walton Featured on Emeril’s Florida on The Cooking Channel
South Walton restaurants, events, and lifestyle will be airing on season 3, episode 10 of Emeril’s Florida on The Cooking Channel. The episode will air the first week of March and features Jim Shirley’s The Bay, Vin’tij Wine Boutique, events in South Walton, and a special Gulf-to-Table portion with Emeril’s fresh catch of the day.
Emeril’s Florida Season 3, Episode 10, “South Walton" will air the following dates and times:
- Sunday, March 1, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. CST
- Monday, March 2, 2015 at 8:30 a.m. CST
- Thursday, March 5, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. CST
In this episode, Emeril's first stop is The Bay, a restaurant owned by local favorite Chef Jim Shirley. His menu features Southern Gulf Coast cuisine, sushi, craft beers and crafted cocktails.

Next is Vin'tij Wine Boutique & Bistro, which features an eclectic menu with one of the best wine lists you'll find in a small restaurant. Emeril then takes a tour of the many events held in South Walton throughout the year including a wine & food festival, a fashion week, a film festival and a beer festival. Emeril finishes up the episode grilling a red snapper he caught for a fresh and healthy salad.
This is the third season South Walton has been featured on Emeril’s Florida to highlight the area’s special appeal as a culinary destination in the state of Florida. Prior seasons 1 and 2 have also have been aired on The Food Network. All three seasons have been coordinated by Visit South Walton through partnership with Visit Florida and local Chef Emeril Lagasse.
