Anyone catch the write up in Golf Digest about Seaside and the area? If not, check it out. Makes me miss it so!

I can understand an article about Golf in Sowal, but why include Seaside unless there's a law I'm unaware of that requires it in all articles. I don't think Golf when I think Seaside.

According to Resort Quest's study which some developer used as their counts, Golf is the number two reason people come to "our area." I laughed a little when I heard that.

Why do you find that so weird?

I would certainly believe "Beaches" is #1 and "Golf" is #2 on the list of activities that draws people.

SanDestin Beach and Golf Resort, Camp Creek, Shark's Tooth, Santa Rosa Beach, there's a reason why there are so many golf courses here.

Yeah it falls right after that big #1 category of:

Beaches preserved in a wonderful place of nature and the amenities included there in.

Fishing, boating, swimming, hiking, biking, etc.

Well, the Resort Quest data, according the the developer's representative, gave "shopping" the number 1 spot. Beaches were #3.
