We're thinking about visiting Key West this March and when I was looking at things to do, I saw a scavanger hunt that can be done (http://www.keywesthunt.com/index.htm). It got me thinking it might be fun to put one together for my family (both sets of parents are going and our son and BIL's) and have a scavanger hunt to do and have the families compete (maybe for a pitcher of margaritas, hehe). Anyway, what "sites" would you put on a scavanger hunt?

Magnolia Cave? Never heard of it????

I was thinking more along the lines of places along the bike path....something that could take maybe 3-4 hours one afternoon. Maybe like, enjoy smoked tuna from Goatfeathers II, visit the butterfly garden in Rosemary, play in fountains at Seacrest, etc. Even add fun little shops along the way.

Once I get a list together and put it in order along the bike path, I'll work on writing a fun little riddle for each. I think my family will really enjoy it. And of course, I'll post after our vacation so others can enjoy.

Well, I'm partial to a espresso martini at Borago.

If you search there are Sowal stickers in various locations around Key West.

P.S. March is spring break in Key West and is very kid unfriendly during that time. Be ready for rowdy frat boys and drunk stumbling sorrority girls.
