Special Olympics Walton County is hosting their inaugural Special Olympics Stand Up Paddle Invitational at Baytowne Marina AUG 16 from 9am-2:30pm. Athletes should arrive between 8-8:30am.
The event is hosted by YOLO Board and will welcome Special Olympic Paddlers form all over North Florida. Come out and cheer on Special Olympics Walton County athletes!
The mission of Special Olympics is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of sports for persons eight years of age and older with intellectual disability, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy, and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills, and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes, and the community.
