On Friday, May 25[SUP]th[/SUP], at 10am, District 5 Commissioner Cecilia Jones hosted a ribbon cutting at the new Splash Pad at Helen McCall Park. This Splash Pad is the first of its kind to open in South Walton.
For the opening, there were many families on hand who were excited about the opening of the pad. Following the ceremony and ribbon cutting, about 2 dozed children and their families enjoyed the new feature.
Helen McCall Park is located at 325 Moll Drive in Santa Rosa Beach. The Splash Pad is the newest addition to the park which currently features Mission Play Park, baseball/softball fields, batting cages, football fields, picnic tables, restrooms, pavilions and soccer fields.
