Does anyone have any suggestions for a place to watch the Steeler/Saints game on Sunday night? The game is carried on the NFL Network and is not on the local cable system. We are staying in Seagrove and would rather stay close and not drive to PC or Destin. Thanks.

Shades at the far East end of 30A or the Old Florida Fishhouse near Eastern Lake should both have the game, but I would call to double check.

There's also a sports bar in Carillon Beach, which is just across the Phillips Inlet bridge -- i.e., not much farther than Shades. I've never been there but am sure they have TV and all the essential food groups: beer, burgers, and nachos.:D

Is that place still open? I drove in there one day and many of the retail shops were vacant, including what I think used to be the sports bar:dunno:

Carillon Beach is a ghost town. Head to Shades, or at the SanDestin Market Place - I think there is a Beef O'Brady's facing 98.

There is a new Beef O'Brady's in Panama City Beach, next to Carraba's. I went in there last night. A bit dissappointing after my B.O.B's in Lynn Haven, kinda small, too bright, too coffee shoppish.

Or if you know of someone with DISH, you can watch it with them. Bribe them with the essentials....beer, pizza, wings, nachos....

Try Balls Out Sports Bar on 98 in Santa Rosa Beach.
