Another truck and trailer (courtesy of Ecco-Motors)o f supplies has been delivered to the most eastern point we could reach. With an armed escort, as the area is not safe and is on strict lock down. The Army National Guard were setting up a staging area in Mexico Beach where not many supplies have reached just yet.

8 difficult hours to get through with the help of amazing local authorities, but we DID finally get to deliver these much needed supplies to the grateful soldiers, who sleep on the ground, and have not had a hot meal or shower for 5 days while securing the area. We are grateful for those who serve, as it is a very difficult. Communication in this are is non-existent. Public agencies are stretched to their limit. Thank god for good people who give back. Everywhere we met, people pointed to us to more folks in need.

So thank you all, the trips will continue until we are no longer needed! The following is the list they gave us last night,

Donated supplies continue to be collected at Stinky's Bait Shack:

Tarps
Batteries
Tents (make shift housing )
Folding Chairs
Buckets
Styrofoam Coolers
Shaving Cream/ Shampoo
Lighters / Charcoal/ Small Grills
Fuel
Kids Cards/ Games/ Art Supplies/ stickers/ coloring books / Games
