- You will be introduced to the basics of encaustic on paper.
- Explore works on paper including creating one of a kind prints and layering with pigmented beeswax.
- Witness the natural translucency that occurs with the saturation of the beeswax into the paper.
- Develop techniques working with heat and the relationship to surface and texture and make a series of related pieces.
- There will also be a discussion on works on paper involving large scale printing and photography.
