From Seagrove Beach, in June, the sun had the appearance it was setting over land.
In September, I've seen photos that look like the sun is now setting over the gulf. Is that true?

katie blue said:This is true. The sun travels in an arc through the sky. (it only goes directly overhead if you're at the equator.) In the summer, the arc is larger, which makes the days longer and makes the sun set over the land (in SoWal.) In the winter, the arc is smaller, and the sun rises and sets over the water. two for one deal we got.
