Sunshine and blue sky

Wow, saw sunshine and blue sky today for the entire day. First day of sun practically all day and no rain. And now I have bad sunburn from it, after using sunscreen and only being out in the sun for no more than 30 minutes early on. Nice to see clear water today, went out in it twice.

Hey DD, about to go take a beach walk, with tshirt and shorts on both. Burn is looking better this morning though but a little itchy. Trying to leave it alone. If I want to take a dip it will be in my shorts and all. Water felt great yesterday. Sitting here in the townhouse drinking a cup of morning brew. Will be back on later.

Hey Lady D. We were just there too for a quick beach fix after dropping our son off at school in NOLA. We hit rain but had 1 full day of sun. cooler temps too. Big waves, seaweed. But it was still pretty perfect. Have a great vacation!

Hey Allison, didn't know you had been here at the beach. We hit rain Friday evening from South Alabama on into the beach, rained on and off all day Saturday, Sunday and Monday it rained late in the afternoon. Since then it has been nice. But I tell you, the waves have not been nice to me, knocked me on my rear yesterday, sure anybody in view of me got a good laugh, and almost did this morning. Red flags have been out here since we got here. I just use common sense and do not go in the water past my knees.

Don't break a hip - ha! The waves are always the best part. Glad you are having fun. If we'd been there just a bit longer, I would've definitely made it known and looked a few sowal peeps up.

June grass is virtually nonexistent now. Haven't seen any since Monday during the day. Started clearing out that evening. Water sure feels good though. And it has gotten hot again. Probably hotter here now than in Memphis.
