If any of you watch "Survivor", the fall "Survivor" show - Cook's Island -- was just announced. My brother-in-law, Jonathan Penner (my husband's brother), is one of the contestants. Sooooo, we'll be watching it this fall (we usually don't watch it but we'll definitely be tuning in). It will be interesting to watch his strategies. He's a good guy though I don't know what his "image" will be on the show.

Very cool Paula! We'll be sure to tune in! I've often wondered how one puts his or her life 'on hold' to participate in one of these shows.

Best of luck to him!! :clap_1:

That's so cool Paula. :clap_1: I just saw previews for it tonight on television. It seems they are using a new format this season by splitting up the teams by race. They said they did this because people complained that that they did not see enough race diversity. Personally I couldn't understand why they did it that way. Why not just split up the diverse group into teams, but not segregate them? :dunno: I assume ratings, but fear they may accomplish the opposite of what they though was an apeasement.

Yup, same one. It's actually his wife that got us the tickets to AI because she's in the "business", too. Fun family for sure! Jonathan is one of the older contestants -- 44 years old.

:clap_1: ...Great news, Paula! I never watched it again after the first season, but WILL tune in for this! I agree about the segregated teams...what is the purpose of that?
