This is a good recipe and makes a good gift in a pretty jar or canister.

1.5 lb Georgia pecan halves
1 stick butter
2 TBSP brown sugar
1.5 tsp cayenne pepper
2 tsp salt

Melt butter, preheat oven to 300

mix dry ingredients place pecans in a bowl
pour half of butter & dry ingredients over & stir thoroughly
pour remaining butter & dry mix over & stir thoroughly
pour onto rimmed cookie sheet
toast until crunchy, about 25 - 30 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes

This also works well with walnuts and served on a cheese tray

Ooooh, thanks. I was just thinking of the pecans from the other recipe. I just  stopping at Ellis Bros. in Pitts, GA, if we're ever going that way, at their store in the orchard. It's so pretty out there under the big trees. They even have muscadine jelly. :D That pecan recipe sounds really good.

Those babies are too good. Just don't put them all out at the same time. They'll all be gone in one sitting.
