Halloween Safety Tips
As Halloween approaches, SWFD would like to remind everyone that whether you’re a ghost or goblin, princess or hero, “SAFETY” should always be a part of your Halloween activities.
Here are SWFD's Top 5 “Halloween Safety Tips" for you and your little trick-or-treaters.
Avoid trick-or-treating alone. Walk in groups or with a trusted adult.
Fasten reflective tape to costumes and bags to help drivers see children. Use a flashlight to light your way
Examine all treats for choking hazards, tampering and allergies before eating them.
Look both ways before crossing the street.
Wear well-fitting masks, costumes, and shoes to avoid blocked vision, trips, and falls.
