Sorry you got the impression that was in DeFuniak Springs. The picture come off the Progressive Florida or Floridian Blog I think. I assume it is somewhere around Broward County. But who knows.
Okay your photos were pretty over the top. But I have seen just as many offensive signs and such when Bush was in office. The funny thing to me, and I do have a strange sense of humor, are the ones with them calling for tax cuts holding up signs that show a clear lack of education in the spelling department.

2. The vast majority of those participating have a real concern for the direction our country is heading.
3. These signs are no more offensive than hanging Sarah Palin in effegy, and if memory serves correctly, many thought that was very appropriate.

The one from WI is certainly in poor taste and offensive. None of the others did I find offensive. I did finally click on the streaming video thing and there were a couple that were offensive without a doubt. Some of it was not legible, however.
I think we look for what we want to see.
Right now, I am looking for a third major party to infiltrate the United States! ;-) And, as many write-offs as I can legally ascertain!

Seriously Hno, you are swallowing propaganda hook, line and sinker. I didn't go to any tea party and I know full well they were more anti-Obama/Democrat pep rallies than anything else, but I have a difficult time believing that radical 'Obama is Hitler' types outnumbered decent people ten to one. You are heading down a dangerous (mind poisoning to be honest) path lumping so many people into such a negative mold. Let it go, you are only prolonging the tea partiers 15 minutes of fame.
I'd be more than happy to keep paying for all these things since they mostly get paid for through local county and state taxes. Lets keep our local taxes the same, maybe throw a few dollars toward federal for highways and defense, and then slash and burn every other federal program to the bone.
I'd be happy, and I'd have my street signs and sidewalks to boot!
i love watching retirees, who mostly pay little income tax, but cash social security checks and enjoy the medicare welfare gig, protesting against the non-white, non-republican president.
