Wow! What an awesome evening at D&K Cafe! Everything was perfect.

7 year wedding anniversary today on 7-7-07


Kat made us feel so at home, and everything was to die for.

The interior is so comfortable and cozy with gorgeous views of the Gulf! The cuisine was excellent- everything from the wine to the Oysters Bienville, crawfish or shrimp salad and then our main courses- steak for my husband and grouper with crawfish for me. My husband LOVED his dinner- he travels and eats out a lot in DC and in Atlanta- he said this was a superb meal- that says a lot coming from him.

We then topped all of this off with Kathy's amazing Key Lime Pie!

If you have not tried D&K Cafe, I HIGHLY recommend it!

I so enjoyed chatting with ya'll and look forward to the next time we get to talk and share stories. That picture of your son wearing the pirates hat is adorable.
