The Emerald Coast Meditation Society welcomes you to a session of Jin Shin Jyutsu with Palma on Thursday, May 18th at Christ the King Episcopal Church in Santa Rosa. Please note our time of meeting in person on the third Thursday of each month has changed to 4:30 - 6:00 pm.

We will begin the meeting with a 30 minute silent walking meditation on the new outdoor labyrinth on the beautiful grounds of Christ the King. Following walking meditation, Palma will speak on the ancient art and practice of Jin Shin Jyutsu. She will demonstrate techniques from her years of practice and allow for question/answers. Below is a brief Bio of our speaker and valued member of ECMS, Palma Cooper.

Bio:
Palma D. Cooper is a Licensed Massage Therapist, Jin Shin Jyutsu Practitioner and Self-Help Instructor. She has over 25 years of experience helping clients overcome intermittent and chronic health conditions through the use of Jin Shin Jyutsu. She was introduced to the art of Jin Shin Jyutsu 1997 when seeking help with a chronic health condition. She was able to use the methods learned to cure her condition within a few sessions. After which, she started intensely studying the art through seminars and classes along with spending time at the Jin Shin Jyutsu Inc in Scottsdale Arizona.

Jin Shin Jyutsu is a gentle art of healing from ancient tradition that works with energy pathways feeding life to all the cells in the body. One or more of these pathways may become weakened or blocked, leading to imbalance of physical, mental, and/or emotional well-being. In addition to alleviating symptoms of pain and disease, Jin Shin Jyysu reaches deeper causal levels to revitalize the body’s profound ability to balance and heal.

Palma has been offering Jin Shin Jyutsu sessions and Self-Help classes in the Destin/Miramar Beach area for the past 20 years along with being an accomplished Florida Licensed Massage Therapist since 2008.

JSJ Sessions may be focused on addressing specific health situations or general wellness conditions. Unlike massage, there is no need to disrobe to receive Jin Shin Jyutsu. It is given by the practitioner placing fingertips on specific points, called Safety Energy Locks, throughout the body in predetermined order to assist the body’s own energy to address the health condition.

Clients often see results after only a few sessions, unlike practices that require a commitment to a large number of sessions to receive desired results. Clients can also practice Jin Shin Jyutsu on their own using simple Self-Help techniques that Palma can teach them during their normal sessions or in a class setting.
